"description": "Did you know that Ben Franklin who is often credited with the discovery of electricity in 1752, was actually performing an experiment about electricity that had already been discovered. His experiment proved that lightning carried an electrical current after the key on the end of Franklin’s kite was electrically charged. After the electrical current was captured in a Leyden jar, further studies led to an understanding of the positive and negative charges in electricity, which became the basis for the invention of the lightning rod.",

"title": "Did you know that George Washington died from blood-letting?",
"description": "Physicians in the Hippocratic tradition believed that both physical and mental illness could be ascribed to imbalanced humours. The four major bodily fluids are usually identified as blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile (melancholy). Early beliefs by medicinal practitioners and physicians held that an imbalance of these fluids resulted in poor health. Believing that too much black bile was the cause of undue sadness. \n\nThese beliefs led to a period of “leech mania,” particularly in Europe, where blood leeching was considered the cure for nearly every physical or emotional ailment. Historical records reveal that Paris hospitals utilized five to six million leeches annually, accounting for more than 300,000 liters of collected blood. \nGeorge Washington requested to be bled while suffering from a severe throat infection. After leeches removed 12 to 14 ounces of his blood, Washington requested to remove more. The first president of the United States endured four separate bleedings before his death, likely the result of losing too much blood.",

"title": "Did you know one of the first community social welfare programs began in Scotland and then was launched in New Harmony, Indiana?",
"description": "Robert Owen made his fortune in cotton manufacturing in Lanarkshire, Scotland. In the early 1800’s, he was burdened with the impact of poverty on society, especially on children. He promoted the vision of a utopian society that naturally evolves towards a system respecting all individuals as equals and ensuring equal provisions for everyone.\nIn conflict with the ideals of business partners and investors, he proposed to build a village community of 1200 people allowed to live on 1000 to 1500 acres per family unit. Families would have private living quarters on a campus with a communal kitchen and community space shared by everyone. The establishment was self-contained agricultural land serviced by families using state-of-the-art equipment. He believed the model could be reproduced in parishes and counties statewide as unions of tens, hundreds, or thousands sharing common interests and responsibilities. This was a precursor to the formula of unionized workmanship and ownership.\nThe model in Scotland found its way to Indiana, where Robert Owen established the community of New Harmony. He believed it to be the answer to eliminate poverty. In 1825, after purchasing 30k acres of land from a religious organization, Mr. Owen was directly responsible for managing the community. Differences rose largely related to religion and politics, and in 1828, he lost 80% of his personal fortune walking away from the project.",

The silent aleph is the segway before the audible “bet” the second letter in the Hebrew alphabet which initiates the creation narrative: “Beginning God Created”. Silent preparation always precedes life. \r\nFoundation Meaning:\r\nChampion, strong, \r\nGematria [gem-ah-tria]:\r\nEvery letter of the alef-beis has a numerical value, or gematria. The gematria of alef is one, representing the one (or oneness of) G d, as we say in the famous prayer: “Hear, O Israel, God is our Lord, God is One.” (Deut 6;1 *shema)",
